Back Cove Neighborhood Association

Who We Are

The Back Cove Neighborhood Association (BCNA) represents and advocates for the residents and businesses of the Back Cove neighborhood of Portland, Maine.

Founded in 2003, we serve as the liaison between Back Cove residents and businesses, and the city government. Our boundaries are (roughly) Forest Avenue across to Washington Avenue, and Canco Road down to the Cove.

We hold regular membership meetings & events focusing on:
  • Local elections
  • Open space/environmental issues
  • Relations with Ocean Avenue Elementary School
  • Traffic and safety
  • Social get-togethers
We respond to the interests and concerns of you, our neighbors. Join us!
